Contribution Guide

Please don't be put off by any of the guidelines below - the main thing is that we build each other up and share information about all the good things that God is doing in Pembrokeshire.

If possible please send things by email, either in the body or as an attachment. Plain text (.txt) preferred but .doc, .docx, .odt, .ods files are all welcome. If you don't know what I am on about don't worry - just send your contributions and let me sort it out.

Diary dates should include the following information: -
Event, eg. "Prayer Meeting"
Description, eg "To pray for the new Alpha Course"
Date, eg. "12/03/08"
Time, eg. "7:00am"
Venue, eg. "St Aldates Church, Penddraig"
Contact details, eg. "Michael, 0123 456 7899"

News and Reports can either be a completed work (though bear in mind that considerations of space may require it to be edited down) or information for us to write up.
In the second case please include details of the place, date and time, nature of the event, organisers, and the main speakers etc.
Quotes and photos (.jpg) are a huge help.
For future events we can work from a flier or poster etc.

Articles should be broadly Christian in content, sound in doctrine and encouraging in tone.
They should generally be less than 1000 words.
A "mugshot" photo of yourself (96x128 jpeg preferred) adds human interest.
Articles that are intemperate, partisan or explicitly critical of other denominations, groupings or churches cannot be accepted.

If you are submitting on behalf of a church, fellowship or group you need to be someone with responsibility, such as minister, pastor, elder, deacon, prayer secretary, youth leader etc.

As I said, the most important thing is to send the information so don't be bothered by the detail!
